I have never had to take group showers with my friends, but occasionally (at resorts) I have had to get changed into a bathing suit but typically I either change in the rooms we have (before going to the pool house) or I change as fast as possible in a little corner. I'm 16 and like you (the original poster) I'm quite shy.
